Suzie is a seeker of justice. Her dream as a high school freshman was to seek justice and help people. In her pursuit of justice, she served as a prosecutor in Ohio and Florida. She has tried over 100 cases involving crimes ranging from petit theft to capital sexual battery for over 15 years. Suzie knows how the justice system works and she will use her years of knowledge, skills, trial experience, and compassion to seek justice for you.

Suzie is a graduate of Trenton State College, New Jersey and Case Western Reserve University, School of Law, Cleveland, OH. She went straight from law school to the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office in Cleveland, OH where she started working in the Child Support Enforcement Division. She rose through the ranks to the Juvenile Division, and eventually led the Domestic Violence Unit. Suzie was not only satisfied seeking justice for the victims, she also worked to help them get counseling and victim of crime compensation. She also volunteered as a counselor at the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center where she answered calls for help. Suzie believes that adversity is not just something to overcome, it is an opportunity to grow and improve.

Following her Marine spouse (Oorah!), Suzie relocated to Pensacola Naval Air Station in Pensacola, FL where she continued her career as a criminal trial attorney with the State Attorney’s Office, First Judicial Circuit. She was appointed as a Special Prosecutor at the Gulf Coast Kids’ House where she litigated cases involving crimes against children. Suzie tried and convicted numerous sex offenders and secured a conviction for sexual battery with a sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Suzie next relocated to Yokota Air Base near Tokyo, Japan where she served as a Contract Special Investigator with the US Department of State. She conducted security background investigations for members of the military and State Department personnel. Suzie learned how to locate, store, interpret, and use information.

Upon returning stateside, Suzie continued her pursuit of justice at the Hillsborough State Attorney’s Office for the past eight years. Suzie enjoyed working in the Juvenile Division as a Special Prosecutor because the focus was not only on prosecuting but also rehabilitating the juvenile offenders. Suzie participated in Juvenile Drug Court and Juvenile Mental Health Court.

Most importantly, Suzie likes to get to the point. If that means taking the case to trial, she will use her experience to fight for you. At other times, she will negotiate with the prosecutors to get you the best deal possible. Her experience as a prosecutor, investigator, and compassionate professional taught her to be diligent and tenacious in seeking a just and fair outcome.
