Practice Area: Criminal Defense
Date: June 9, 2014
Description: Our client had previously pled to a 3rd degree felony. He was arrest for a new DUI and then received a Driving While License Suspended charge a few months later.
The State Attorney’s Office originally sought 90-days in jail for our client. We successfully had our client’s probation terminated / revoked, and got a brief probation period with only 50 community service hours. Our client is allowed to buy-out half the community service and avoided any jail or prison time.
Outcome: No jail time – brief probation period with 50 hours of community service
