Practice Area: Criminal Defense
Date: August 9, 2016
Description: Our client was arrested after weaving his motorcycle at a high rate of speed through traffic. He was charged with Reckless Driving, a misdemeanor that could have serious consequences for him.
We had our client take steps to help his case. We wrote a lengthy detailed letter to the State Attorney’s Office, highlighting the legal issues with the case in addition to information about our client. Ultimately, the State Attorney’s Office agreed. Our client received a reduction from a criminal charge, to a civil citation, where he was able to keep points off his license, and only have to pay a $166 fine.
Outcome: Reckless Driving Reduced to Civil Citation
