Case: State v. A.M.T-N. (Pinellas County)
Charges: Careless Driving
Date: January 18, 2024
Outcome: DISMISSED
Description: A.M.T-N. had a Commercial Driver’s license and ANY points or moving violations could result in harsh consequences on the CDL, up to an including a suspension of A.M.T-N.’s driving privileges meaning unemployment. While driving a box truck making a delivery, A.M.T-N. backed into a building causing thousands of dollars in damage. A.M.T-N. hired us to help. We set the matter for hearing and both the victim and police officer appeared. We negotiated with the victim, the officer, and the judge, and got everyone to agree to DISMISS the ticket. We won and A.M.T-N. will continue working.
