Description: J.R.T. was driving 83 m.p.h. in a 45-m.p.h.-zone. J.R.T. was 19 years old and showed multiple signs of alcohol impairment, including a strong odor of alcohol. J.R.T. performed poorly on field sobriety exercises and gave a breath alcohol sample of 0.126/0.122, nearly 6 times the legal limit for a minor. J.R.T. needed this case resolved as a pre-condition of entering the U.S. armed forces. After negotiates with the State, J.R.T. pled to a Reckless Driving with a Withhold of Adjudication and a DISMISSAL of both infractions. Due to the reduction and the plea, J.R.T. was cleared to start a career in the U.S. armed forces.
