Description: R.V. was on camera committing a theft. The State refused to allow R.V. to participate in a pre-trial diversion program, citing her record. After numerous discussions, the State relented and agree to allow R.V. on the program. R.V. got kicked out of diversion for failing to compete its conditions, and we fought to get diversion reinstated. R.V. stated that this charge turned R.V.’s life around, R.V. was lucky that this occurred, and R.V. is much better for having had this experience.
