Case: State v. T.J.B. (Hillsborough County)
Charges: Petit Theft
Date: March 4, 2024
Outcome: REDUCED to Withhold of Adjudication
Description: T.J.B. hired another law firm to help with this Petit Theft charge. Due to VERY BAD advice, T.J.B. pled and receive an Adjudication of Guilt on his charge. The Adjudication of Guilt haunted T.J.B. and his record, leading to multiple rejections for employment. T.J.B. hired us a year later to REOPEN the case and get a Withhold of Adjudication. After careful and reasoned negotiations, both the State and the Judge agreed with the arguments of Greater Tampa Law and CHANGED T.J.B.’s Adjudication of Guilt to a Withhold of Adjudication, restoring T.J.B.’s record and ability to get the best job possible.
